Snow Fun!

We got our first snow of the season Friday afternoon & Saturday morning!  Titus was so excited when he woke up from his afternoon nap on Friday and saw the snow falling.  He had been asking for snow for the last several weeks!  He wants to make a snowman now, we'll have to wait though, the snow is really powdery still. 

It's still really cold out - only 19 degrees right now and it was under 5 degrees this morning, but we've been able to have fun out in the snow.  Sometimes we only last 5 minutes before being too cold but the boys are still finding it fun to play in the snowy wonder! Today we were able to be out for a good 30 minutes making snow balls and having fun.  James learned that it is much warmer when you stay close to the house out of the wind! :-)

Trust me, they weren't going fast - the snow was just powdery.

More March Pictures

I know I promised some more pictures last time, sorry for taking so long.  I got a new computer and it took awhile for me to get everything moved over, so that's mostly my excuse. :-) Also, this new computer has a totally new operating system so I spent several days (weeks maybe), relearning how to use a computer. :-)  I'm liking it now and am mostly used to using Window's 8 and a touchscreen computer! :-)

Now here's some pictures for you. :-)

There are a lot of pictures of James in his highchair, I think it's because it's the only time he's still enough to get his picture taken! :-)

When the weather is warm enough outside the boys love to get out!  We had several really really nice days, now it's cold again with snow on the ground. :-)

Titus has been my kitchen helper lately.  He loves to mix things, pour ingredients into mixing bowls, help wash the dishes, unload the dishwasher, and pretty much anything that makes a bit of a mess. :-)

Many thanks to G.G. (great-grandma) for the yummy jams, James is very fond of them! :-)

He's a bit on the big side, but loves being pushed around in the doll stroller.

James is 11 Months

So, my baby is growing up.  He'll be 1 next month, can that really be?

It seems just like yesterday that he was born - his tiny little self came bringing us more joy and fun then we could have imagined.  He blended into our family so well, being Titus' little baby that he wanted to hold all the time to now being Titus' play buddy.  He's got the prettiest little eyes and his smile is radiant.  Everyone who sees him can't help but smile.  It feels like he's been here forever on the other hand too!  At one point I wondering how life with 2 little ones would be, now I can't image life without these precious 2 little ones. :) But, anyway, I thought I'd share a few pictures of them before I get even later (for James 11 months pictures). :)  Here's just a few today, I'll work on getting some more ready in the next few days. :)  There's no shortage of pictures over here. :)

I edited this photo with a film to make it look the way it does, still not 100% sure if I'm fond of the look. :)

You know how hard it is to get a picture of both boys together?  Ashley asked me for a new picture of the boys a few weeks ago and I had to go back several months to get a decent one.  Most of the time they end up like these. : )  Add the dog in and you get even more fun! :)

Boys, 10 Months, sunshine, kittens, airplanes & other random pictures.

Hi again! :-)

James recently turned 10 months.  He's definitely trying to grow up too fast.  He's now walking and trying to keep up with Titus.  He's got 8 teeth and enjoys to eat just about anything you'll give him.  He's got the new mark of a bruise on his head at almost any given moment.  Oh, the joys of learning to walk, balance and how far away that wall is... :-)  He's quite the little ham and loves to get his picture taken.  The other day Daniel was using his flashlight on his iPhone and James was giving him such cute smiles thinking he was taking pictures of him. :-)

We got a few kittens and Titus loves to play with them.  Even though they've scratched him a few times he still thinks they are great fun!

I thought this little Man was too little to color on himself.  Thought wrong!

We've been having such beautiful weather lately and been able to spend a bunch of time outside. The boys have been quite happy to be able to go out and get dirty!

He's even able to stand on the uneven ground outside!

Yummy Dinners - Salmon, fried Sweet Potatoes, corn and avocados. 

In the middle of our nice and warm weather we got snow!  

Titus loved it for the first 5 minutes; before he got too cold! :-)

I got 2 of the 3 borders added to my quilt. :)
